The Forage Mart offers 'horse quality' round and square bales
of hay for sale in East Texas.

OUR MISSION STATEMENT:

Dedicated to producing a quality product at a related price for the equestrian market.

OUR OPERATION:

We bale coastal Bermuda grass which has been sprayed annually for weeds and unwanted grasses (Bahia). All hay is fertilized before each cutting.

OUR EQUIPMENT:

We use a John Deere 348 square baler with string tie. The bales are accumulated onto a Steffan Accumulator and handled with grapples. Our bales never get dragged over the ground like some of our competitors and therefore eliminating the possibility of sand colic.

Our round bales are made with a John Deere 468, net wrapped and measure 5.5 X 4 feet. These bales are tightly packed.
